Edy is a poet, editor, and communications strategist from the Midwest, living in Portland. For over a decade, she has worked across independent publishing, fashion, sustainability, technology, and brand marketing, motivated by creative innovation and critical intervention.

In 2024, Edy completed an MA in Critical Studies, integrating research, analysis, and philosophy into her creative practice—particularly cultural and affective studies—to challenge inherited systems and patterns.

Her press initiatives have led to placements in TIME, Vogue, and WWD. As an editor, she has worked with critically acclaimed authors including Eileen Myles, Jeff Alessandrelli, Kim Alidio, and Jaydra Johnson. Her own writing appears in publications such as Chicago Review, Wardrobe Theory Project, Zona Motel, and ROOM Magazine.

Edy is also an embodiment facilitator who leads classes centered on balance, autonomy, and expression. Through breathwork, visualization, and dynamic pacing and flow, she helps students deepen self-observation and access embodied knowledge and physiological catharsis.

A passionate advocate for the arts, she promotes financial literacy and the intentional circulation of resources toward arts and education. In her personal time, she extends her creativity through reading, performance, and surfing.
